Generally, free Japanese courses have certain limitations. They are free because the course authors intend to generate engagement and attract followers and then sell a paid course.
So, if you really want to take a complete course, we will definitely recommend purchasing a paid course, because although the internet is full of study materials, many people need a map, teacher or method to progress.
I personally do not recommend face-to-face courses. Even intensive courses in Japan brought disappointment to some. Of course, online courses have their difficulties, some people may not have the discipline to study, but the advantages are much greater than in-person courses.
