Netflix is known for adapting various works from Japanese pop culture. This was the case with Death Note and even One Piece. Some of these works are revered while others do not appeal to the public, often because they do not bring the essence of that narrative or because of a direction that does not deliver what is expected.

Yuyu Hakusho
First of all, what is Yuyu Hakusho?! It is a manga series with an anime adaptation by the same author of Hunter x Hunter, Yoshihiro Togashi.
Yuyu Hakusho tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old delinquent who
In an unexpected act of altruism, he saves the life of a little boy from being run over by a car. In this attempt, Urameshi ends up being injured.
He then sees his body being taken away by an ambulance and realizes that he had become a spirit. His spirit is welcomed by Botan, a woman who introduces herself as the guide of the spirits to Rekai, which is the world of spirits. Where he would then be judged in the afterlife.
Its anime version was also released in Brazil, and it peaked in popularity between 1990 and 1994, when the animated series was aired on the now-defunct TV Manchete.
The animated adaptation has 112 episodes.
Cast of the series
The cast features Japanese actors who closely resemble the original characters.
For example, Japanese actor Go Ayano is drawing attention for being able to incorporate the character Toguro in a very similar way.
Originality
In the very first episodes, it's possible to see that much of the work was preserved and respected, the personality of the main characters, the atmosphere, and the setting itself. Making it clear that those who watched the original version have a good chance of liking its adapted version.
In other words, those who seek to find the same atmosphere and universe as the original version may end up feeling very disappointed.

Since it's a Netflix adaptation, it's clear that it's available on Netflix, but some live action series often do not become available in Brazil and some regions, as was the case with the Tokyo Revengers live action.
