A história dos Mangás
Os mangás surgiram no início do século 20, e com o passar dos anos, tornaram-se mundialmente conhecidos e indispensáveis à sociedade japonesa. Seu sucesso pode ser atribuído às suas características tão particulares como a grande diversidade de gêneros, a forte presença da línguagem cinematográfica e o traço em estilo cartum.
Muitos dos fãs brasileiros de mangás se tornaram admiradores dos criadores de seus quadrinhos e animês favoritos, porém nunca ouviram falar de um dos grandes pioneiros do ramo, o responsável pelo grande manga de sucesso.
Não é difícil encontrar, por exemplo, otakus que se referem a Akira Toriyama – criador de Dragon Ball – como “mestre”, sem fazer ideia de que Toriyama, assim como muitos outros mangakás, possuem como principal inspiração as obras de um outro grande mestre, que implementou ao mangá suas mais marcantes características: Osamu Tezuka.
A história do sucesso de Osamu Tezuka
Osamu Tezuka nasceu na cidade de Osaka em 1926, ele começou sua carreira criando tirinhas cômicas para jornais e já trabalhou até mesmo com Walt Disney. Desde sua adolescência ele desenhava para seus colegas de classe.
Infelizmente por causa da Segunda Guerra Mundial, Osamu Tezuka se sentiu atraído em se formar na medicina para ajudar os amigos e a população que estavam sofrendo durante a guerra, que resultou em pobreza e fome.
Após a devastação causada pela Segunda Guerra Mundial, a população japonesa encontrava-se completamente desolada. Foi então que Osamu Tezuka, pensou que uma boa maneira de trazer felicidade aos japoneses (principalmente às crianças), seria por meio de quadrinhos cômicos e otimistas.
Osamu Tezuka teve uma carreira bem extensa que vamos ver com detalhes. Ele já esteve até mesmo no Brasil por volta de 1984 dando aulas de mangá, abrindo uma exposição de seu trabalho e ajudou até mesmo diretores da ABRADEMI.
Infelizmente ele nos deixou cedo, vindo a morrer de câncer em 1989 aos 60 anos, porém seus trabalhos nunca deixarão de nos divertir e inspirar os futuros artistas. Agora vamos falar exatamente sobre essas obras que moldaram a história.
As realizações de Osamu Tezuka
Sua primeira obra de sucesso foi lançada em 1946, com nome de: Shin Takarajima (A Nova Ilha do Tesouro) – uma história em quadrinhos que misturava elementos da línguagem cinematográfica aos quadrinhos.
Logo depois ele fez outro sucesso entre os jovens chamado de Jungle Taitei (Kimba, o leão Branco) no ano de 1950. Além de mangas, Osamu Tezuka em sua carreira escreveu alguns livros e outras obras que muitos não conhecem.
Tezuka criou e desenhou inúmeros mangas, entre eles Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy), que fez grande sucesso e foi o primeiro manga a história a receber uma adaptação para televisão como um Anime.
Outra obra de sucesso é Ribon no Kishi (A Princesa e o Cavaleiro), considerado o percursor dos mangas shoujo. Essa obra também rendeu um clássico anime de 52 episódios que fez bastante sucesso.
Astro Boy também foi a primeira obra a receber dublagem em inglês para ser exibido aos americanos. Tezuka não tinha limitações de gêneros, além de histórias de fantasia ele escreveu até mesmo sobre budismo, nazismo e contos adultos.
Osamu Tezuka não inventou o manga, mas ele que popularizou sem precedentes esse fenômeno no Japão. Acredita-se Osamu Tezuka tenha escrito quase 700 história num total de 150.000 páginas.
A influência de Osamu Tezuka
Foi Osamu Tezuka quem introduziu os olhos grandes aos mangas, inspirado pelos trabalhados de Walt Disney e pelas atrizes do teatro Takarazuka, cujos olhares brilhavam à luz dos refletores.
A grande paixão de Tezuka pela sétima arte também se mostrou presente em suas obras. O artista introduziu a línguagem cinematográfica aos mangas, utilizando vários tipos de enquadramentos e decompondo o movimento nos quadros.
Inspirado pelos roteiros hollywoodianos, também criou histórias com marcantes confrontos entre heróis e vilões e grande dramaticidade, algo que não existia nos quadrinhos japoneses até então.
Tezuka também se dedicou em divulgar e popularizar os quadrinhos japoneses ao redor do mundo. Ele até fez amizade com Moebius e com cartunista brasileiro Maurício de Sousa.
Devido às suas contribuições ao meio, Tezuka recebeu a alcunha de Manga no Kamisama (Deus do Mangá).
Existe um museu no Japão para lembrar sua história. Sem mencionar que até hoje suas obras clássicas ganham adaptações para TV como no caso de Astro Boy e Black Jack.
