La storia dei Manga
I manga sono emersi all’inizio del XX secolo e, nel corso degli anni, sono diventati conosciuti in tutto il mondo e indispensabili per la società giapponese. Il loro successo può essere attribuito alle loro caratteristiche così particolari come la grande diversità di generi, la forte presenza del linguaggio cinematografico e il tratto in stile cartum.
Molti dei fan brasiliani dei manga sono diventati ammiratori dei creatori dei loro fumetti e anime preferiti, ma non hanno mai sentito parlare di uno dei grandi pionieri del settore, responsabile del grande manga di successo.
Non è difficile trovare, per esempio, otaku che si riferiscono a Akira Toriyama – creatore di Dragon Ball – come “maestro”, senza avere idea che Toriyama, come molti altri mangaka, hanno come principale ispirazione le opere di un altro grande maestro, che ha implementato al manga le sue caratteristiche più marcanti: Osamu Tezuka.
La storia del successo di Osamu Tezuka
Osamu Tezuka è nato nella città di Osaka nel 1926, ha iniziato la sua carriera creando strisce comiche per giornali e ha lavorato persino con Walt Disney. Fin dall’adolescenza disegnava per i suoi compagni di classe.
Purtroppo a causa della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, Osamu Tezuka si sentì attratto a laurearsi in medicina per aiutare gli amici e la popolazione che soffrivano durante la guerra, che ha portato a povertà e fame.
Dopo la devastazione causata dalla Seconda Guerra Mondiale, la popolazione giapponese si trovava completamente desolata. Fu allora che Osamu Tezuka pensò che un buon modo per portare felicità ai giapponesi (soprattutto ai bambini) sarebbe stato attraverso fumetti comici e ottimisti.
Osamu Tezuka ha avuto una carriera molto estesa che vedremo in dettaglio. È stato persino in Brasile intorno al 1984, dando lezioni di manga, aprendo una mostra del suo lavoro e ha aiutato persino i direttori della ABRADEMI.
Purtroppo ci ha lasciato presto, morendo di cancro nel 1989 all’età di 60 anni, ma le sue opere non smetteranno mai di divertirci e ispirare i futuri artisti. Ora parleremo esattamente di queste opere che hanno plasmato la storia.
Le realizzazioni di Osamu Tezuka
La sua prima opera di successo è stata lanciata nel 1946, con il nome di: Shin Takarajima (La Nuova Isola del Tesoro) – una storia a fumetti che mescolava elementi del linguaggio cinematografico ai fumetti.
Poco dopo ha avuto un altro successo tra i giovani chiamato Jungle Taitei (Kimba, il Leone Bianco) nel 1950. Oltre ai manga, Osamu Tezuka nella sua carriera ha scritto alcuni libri e altre opere che molti non conoscono.
Tezuka ha creato e disegnato innumerevoli manga, tra cui Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy), che ha avuto un grande successo ed è stato il primo manga nella storia a ricevere un adattamento per la televisione come un Anime.
Un’altra opera di successo è Ribon no Kishi (La Principessa e il Cavaliere), considerato il precursore dei manga shoujo. Questa opera ha dato anche un classico anime di 52 episodi che ha avuto molto successo.
Astro Boy è stata anche la prima opera a ricevere il doppiaggio in inglese per essere trasmesso agli americani. Tezuka non aveva limitazioni di generi, oltre a storie di fantasia ha scritto persino su buddismo, nazismo e racconti per adulti.
Osamu Tezuka non ha inventato il manga, ma è stato lui a popolarizzare senza precedenti questo fenomeno in Giappone. Si crede che Osamu Tezuka abbia scritto quasi 700 storie per un totale di 150.000 pagine.
L’influenza di Osamu Tezuka
È stato Osamu Tezuka a introdurre gli occhi grandi ai manga, ispirandosi ai lavori di Walt Disney e alle attrici del teatro Takarazuka, i cui sguardi brillavano alla luce dei riflettori.
La grande passione di Tezuka per la settima arte si è mostrata presente anche nelle sue opere. L’artista ha introdotto il linguaggio cinematografico ai manga, utilizzando vari tipi di inquadrature e decomponendo il movimento nei quadri.
Ispirato dagli scenari hollywoodiani, ha anche creato storie con marcanti confronti tra eroi e cattivi e grande drammaticità, qualcosa che non esisteva nei fumetti giapponesi fino ad allora.
Tezuka si è anche dedicato a divulgare e popolarizzare i fumetti giapponesi in tutto il mondo. È persino diventato amico di Moebius e del cartunista brasiliano Maurício de Sousa.
A causa dei suoi contributi al settore, Tezuka ha ricevuto il soprannome di Manga no Kamisama (Dio del Manga).
Esiste un museo in Giappone per ricordare la sua storia. Senza contare che ancora oggi le sue opere classiche ricevono adattamenti per la TV come nel caso di Astro Boy e Black Jack.
