Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo are considered, to this day, as two of the main players in football on the planet and both have appeared on Japanese TV, being caught in funny and very peculiar moments.
In addition, the participation of the two athletes gave the Japanese the opportunity to get to know them more closely, in addition to helping to promote the sport in the East.

Cristiano Ronaldo
There have been videos circulating on social networks and on youtube (for quite some time now) of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo appearing on a Japanese television program which unexpectedly starts playing a song with a very Brazilian and carnivalesque vibe (lol), provoking a funny reaction from the player.

Another noteworthy event was the interview of CR7 (as the Portuguese ace is nicknamed) to a Japanese boy who was trying hard to ask questions in the player's native language.
At the time, Cristiano Ronaldo complained to reporters and journalists who were laughing at the way the boy pronounced the words. The football/soccerer said: “Why are you laughing? He's trying hard, he's doing really well."
You can watch this beautiful example of humility in the video below:
Neymar
Neymar was another player to be interviewed and also invited to participate in some audience programs in Japanese lands.
In addition to showing a lot of sympathy for the Japanese, Neymar was praised by a Japanese woman, who called him "Kakkoii" (かっこいい, which means "cool", "beautiful", "cute"), making the player laugh.
Neymar, in Japanese, is usually pronounced as Neimaru (ネイマール in katakana).
You can see the scene quoted in the video below (it's all in Japanese, so you should turn on automatic subtitles if you don't understand Japanese):
