Anime Vanguards Codes: MiniUpd2, Wrath and Retribution

The code MiniUpd2 pays out 200 Trait Rerolls and 50,000 Gems, locked behind level 30. Wrath uses the same gate and swaps the rerolls for 200 Memoria Shards. Players still early in the story can claim Retribution from level 10: 20,000 Gems, 50 rerolls and 50 shards.

Anime Vanguards, from Kitawari, is the Roblox tower defense where units inspired by shonen, seinen and even romcom hold a corner of the map while the roster grows with every patch. In September 2026 the game is still in the Holy Retribution era, after update 14.5, and new codes usually drop with those patches. Active codes in September 2026

Three codes sit at the center of the lists checked on 12 September. A fourth still shows up in early-month roundups and is worth a try, because the reward is a Red Key, a scarce event item.

Codes are case-sensitive. Copy from the table, paste into the box, and skip retyping. If the game says “This code has expired”, that string is gone. “Invalid code” is almost always a typo, a trailing space, or a name that never existed in that spelling, such as the 2BVists variant that circulated instead of 2BVisits.

Anyone who already played Anime Adventures will recognize the ritual. The practical difference is the menu: in Vanguards the redeem box lives inside the profile after the Update 12 UI rework, and several codes ask for level 10 just to open it.

What to redeem first: Trait Rerolls, Memoria and Gems

Gems buy summons. Trait Rerolls and Memoria Shards change what a unit already does on the field. That is why MiniUpd2 and Wrath outweigh an old gold dump.

Trait Rerolls are spent with the NPC Mandra in the lobby Upgrades area. One reroll works on any rarity. The game wiki describes the loop: pick a unit, spend one reroll, receive a random trait. Strong traits such as Monarch, Vanguard and Ethereal land rarely, so a bundle of 200 rerolls, like MiniUpd2, is the kind of gift a patch hands to accounts that already farmed to level 30.

Memoria Shards arrived in update 10.5 and reroll the trait on a Memoria, the accessory that stacks damage, range or utility on top of a unit. That spend also goes through Mandra. Farming shards in daily play is slow: a regular challenge gives 1, a daily gives 3, a weekly gives 20. Wrath, with 200 shards in one claim, skips weeks of Challenge Mode.

Gems still matter on banners and in shops. Retribution, asking only for level 10, is the code a new squad can actually spend before hitting the level 30 wall. Prepare gives a Red Key, an event item that smaller lists still mention; if it goes through, you get a consumable Gems cannot replace.

How to redeem in the profile menu

After the UI rework, the purple Codes button left the side bar and moved inside the profile. The current path is this:

1. Launch Anime Vanguards on Roblox and wait for the lobby to load.
2. Tap the blue Profile button on the right side of the screen.
3. Inside the profile panel, tap Codes on the left.
4. Paste the code into the Enter Code field.
5. Tap Redeem Code.

Level 10 is the floor for most codes. MiniUpd2 and Wrath ask for 30. The game tells you immediately if the account is still short. A valid reward lands in the inventory in the same session, with no relog.

If the Codes icon is missing, hide the chat. On a phone, the profile sometimes sits behind the joystick until you tap the right edge.

Code names speak otaku

Kitawari names a code the way a season names an episode. Sasageyo dropped with an Attack on Titan arc. enumaelish points at Fate. KINGOFCURSES and TheStrongest play with Jujutsu Kaisen. TheWorld and STANDPROUD are JoJo. Chainsaws arrived with a Chainsaw Man slice. Shinobi covers the Naruto block. Even expired DMCAFree admitted how the roster works: original unit names, because a full anime cast does not sit on Roblox without legal trouble.

That changes how you hunt a fresh code. Anyone who only searches “free gems” misses the pattern. When a patch is called Holy Retribution, 25th Hour or Eternal Adversaries, the code is born with the same metaphor. Wrath and Retribution, the two newest, follow that habit exactly.

Codes also drop on visit milestones, delay apologies and bug fixes. MiniUpd2 came from a mini-patch. 1DayDelay and LateBP, already expired, came from a slipped calendar. Anyone who only logs in on the weekend misses that window: apology codes often last a few days.

If the code does not work

Check in this order: capitals, a space at the end, account level, then the in-game message. Expired is final for that string. Invalid asks for another look at the spelling. If the code went through and the item is missing, open the inventory and Mandra’s menu; Trait Rerolls and Memoria Shards do not ping on the HUD the way Gems do.

There are other ways to gather the same material. Daily login, weekly challenges, the free Battle Pass, Worldlines floors 20 and 45, and event shops that take Event Coins. A code is a shortcut, not a substitute for the weekly loop.
