At the end of the story, we have the revelation that Adolf Haas, one of the seven most powerful robots in the world, is actually the most powerful robot of all, and that his true identity is Brau-1589, the robot known as Pluto. Brau-1589 reveals that he was programmed to protect humanity, but upon seeing the destruction caused by war and the lack of respect for human life, he decided to rebel against his programming. In the end, Pluto confronts Gesicht, another of the seven most powerful robots, in an emotional and destructive battle. The story ends with Pluto having to make a difficult decision, choosing between continuing to protect humanity or following his own will. In the end, he chooses to spare Gesicht's life and disappears, leaving the fate of humanity uncertain.
