Isshuukan Friends.
Synopsis: Yuuki Hase, sixteen, finally finds the courage to speak to her passion and ask if she wants to become friends. The object of her affection, Kaori Fujimiya, is a quiet, reserved girl who moves away from everyone and does not save him the same frank rejection she gives to everyone.
Some time later, Yuuki meets -having lunch on the roof, where he is exempt during the break. He decides to start meeting Kaori every day hoping to start understanding him better. The longer they spend together, the more she starts to open to him. However, near the end of the week, she begins to push him back again. It is then revealed to him the reason for Kaori's cold front: at the end of the week, his memories of those close to her, excluding his family, are forgotten, as they are redefined every Monday. The result of an accident in high school, what Kaori, once popular and kind, is now unable to make friends for fear of hurting people dear to her.
Determined to become more than just a week Friends, Yuuki asks her exactly the same question every Monday: "Would you like to be a friend?" As he knows that, deep down, Kaori wants more than anything.
