Have you ever thought about studying at a university in Japan? Many find it difficult to pass on exchanges like Mext, but if I say that there is another alternative called EJU?

What is the EJU exam like?

The EJU is used to determine the eligibility of prospective students for admission to undergraduate courses at universities in Japan. EJU is held twice a year, once in June and once in November.

The exam consists of two parts: a written exam and a practical exam. The written exam is made up of four sections: Japanese as a Foreign Language, Japan and the World, Mathematics, and Science. It tests a student's understanding and knowledge of Japanese, as well as their ability to think and solve problems.

The practice exam tests a student's ability to use their Japanese language skills in a practical environment. It consists of three parts: listening, speaking and writing. The student has to answer various questions in Japanese, such as talking about a certain topic, reading a passage or writing an essay.

There are no specified requirements for taking the EJU, many take it to measure their aptitude, however, to apply to a university in Japan, students must be at least 18 years old and must have completed 12 years of school.

EJU is an important part of the university admission process in Japan. It is used to assess the academic performance of prospective students, as well as to provide insight into the student's character and personality. Passing the EJU is an important factor for admission to a university in Japan.
