World Trigger

Synopsis: When one gate to another world is suddenly opened on Earth, the city of Mikado is invaded by strange creatures known as "neighbors," malicious beings impermeable to traditional weapons. In response to his arrival, an organization called Border Defense Agency was established to combat the neighboring threat through special weapons called "triggers." Although several years have passed after the gate, neighbors are still a threat and the border members remain in Guarda to ensure the safety of the planet.

Despite this delicate situation, members in training, such as Osamu Mikumo, are not allowed to use their triggers out of headquarters. But when the new mysterious student in his class is dragged into an area forbidden by aggressors, they are attacked by neighbors, and Osamu has no choice but to do what he believes is right. To his surprise, however, the student transferred Yuuma Kuga does a little work from the aliens, revealing that he is a disguised humanid neighbor.
