Kekkaishi

Synopsis: Yoshimura Summura comes from a long line of "Kekkaishi", individuals who have supernatural abilities and are able to destroy evil creatures called Ayakashi who venture into the human kingdom from time to time. Ayakashi are demons that seek to delight in the power emanating from the land of Karasumori, which is also located where Yoshimura Secondary School is located. Now, Yoshimura must fight to protect his beloved school and hometown. Although, if he depended on him, he would rather bake cakes than to fight the ugly characters that appear at night.

Fortunately, Yoshimura is not the only one helping to keep the bad guys away. His friend and childhood neighbor, Tokine Yukimura, joins him in this fair battle. Although they are rival clans, these two are a fantastic team. And teamwork is a vital to fighting the evil that is approaching, such as Ayakashi's attack on the waves, seeking to claim the earth as yours, and a dark organization looks, ready to attack when the time is right ...

    Summary and events

    3. They fight against Ayakashi, creatures of the spirit world that try to invade the human world.
    4. Yoshimori discovers that his family has a curse that causes its members to become stones after death.
    5. Yoshimori tries to break the curse and finds that his older brother, Masamori, is the leader of the Sumimura clan.
    6. Masamori reveals that the curse is a way of protecting the clan's secrets and that he is fighting a secret organization that wants to destroy the barrier among the worlds.
    7. Yoshimori and Tokine join Masamori in the fight against secret organization.
    8. They discover that the secret organization is being led by an old Kekkaishi who has become an Ayakashi.
    9. Yoshimori and Tokine fight against former Kekkaishi and manage to defeat him.
    10. The barrier between the worlds is restored and Yoshimori breaks the curse of his family.

    What happens in the end?

    In Kekkaishi's manga, the story continues after the end of the anime. The final battle against villain Kaguro is resolved and the main characters, Yoshimori and Tokine, continue to protect the city of Karasumori. In the end, Yoshimori becomes the leader of the Sumimura clan and Tokine becomes the leader of the Yukimura clan. They continue to fight supernatural threats and improve their skills like Kekkaishi.
