Tokyo Revengers

Synopsis: Takemichi Hanagaki's second year of high school was the highlight of his life. He had respect, a gang of friends he could count on, and even a girlfriend. But that was twelve years ago. Today, he is nobody: a child-washed non-entity and forever forced to apologize to his youngest boss. A sudden news report about the Tokyo Manji gang's vicious murder of the only girlfriend he's ever had by her side only adds insult to injury. Half a second before a train ends his pitiful life for good, Takemichi flashes back to the same day twelve years ago when he was still dating Hinata Tachibana.

After being forced to revive the same day his downward spiral began, Takemichi meets Hinata's younger brother. Without thinking, he admits his apparent death before returning to the past. Takemichi asks him to protect his sister before inexplicably returning to the future. Miraculously, he is not dead. Strange yet, the future has changed. It seems that Takemichi can alter the flow of time. Given the chance to stop his ex-girlfriend's tragic death at the hands of the Tokyo Manji gang, Takemichi decides to fly back in time to change the course of the future.

    Summary and events

    1. Takemichi Hanagaki, an unemployed 26-year-old, discovers that his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, and her younger brother, Naoto, have been murdered by a gang called the Tokyo Manji Gang.
    2. Takemichi is transported back in time 12 years ago, when he was still in high school and Hinata was his girlfriend. He decides to change the future and save Hinata and Naoto.
    3. Takemichi is reunited with his old school friends, who are now part of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He joins the gang to try and change the future.
    4. Takemichi discovers that the leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang is Toman, his old school friend and Hinata's ex-boyfriend. He tries to approach Toman to find out more about the murders.
    5. Takemichi faces various challenges and struggles within the gang, including rivalry with the Valhalla gang.
    6. Takemichi discovers that the real killer of Hinata and Naoto is a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang named Kisaki Tetta. He tries to stop Kisaki from committing the crime.
