Pokemon Advanced Generation

Synopsis: After participating in the Johto League, Satoshi decides to start over another journey; This time, alone and Pikachu, in the land of Houen. Although he's not alone for long, like Haruka, 10 (who doesn't like Pokémon, but just wants to come to see the world) travel with him after Pikachu destroys his bike. Satoshi also meets his old companion, Takeshi, and Haruka's younger brother, Masato. Together they travel in Houen, fighting against gymnastics leaders, participating in contests and other events on their way to the Houen League.

    What happens in the end?

    As Pokémon Advanced Generation is an anime series based on Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire video game games, there is no original source in manga or light novel. However, the anime series has an ending, which takes place in episode 192 entitled "The Final Battle of the Hoenn League! Satoshi vs Shigeru !!" (in Japanese) or "The Final Battle of the Hoenn League! Ash vs Gary !!" (in English). In this episode, Ash Ketchum, the protagonist of the series, faces his rival Gary Oak in the Pokémon Hoenn League final. After an intense battle, Ash manages to beat Gary and becomes the Hoenn League champion. He celebrates with his friends and Pokémon, and promises to continue his journey to become an even better Pokémon master. The episode ends with Ash and his friends leaving for a new adventure.
