Synopsis: The world was involved in a desperate and three-decades war against the beta-alien species that invaded the planet in 1973. Amid this chaos, a high school student called Takeu Shirogane suddenly wakes up from a terrifying nightmare where he See Mankind in total defeat. Soon after, he realizes that his dream was just memories of his life in an alternative universe. In these memories, alternative V -project is implemented, sending hundreds of thousands of people to space as a last resort to preserve humanity, leaving the remaining billion on Earth to suffer a cruel destination.

A kind of changing this dark future, Takeru joins a military base in Yokohama, which happens to be his old school. There, he manages to convince the deputy commander of the base and the leader of project IV Alternative, Professor Yuuko Kouzuki, to prevent alternative V from happening. To ensure the success of Alternative IV, Takeru must pilot the gigantic surface -tactical combatant humanoid machines (TSF) alongside his fellow cadets. However, he has only two months to complete his training and explore his partial knowledge of the future - the following tragedy.
