Synopsis: 35 years have passed since Lynn Minmay brought peace between the Zentradi and humans at Macross events. Nekki Basara is a guitarist and singer of the band Fire Bomber. Living in a less developed part of the city of Flying 7, which is looking for a habitable planet, he makes up and sings songs in the belief that music has greater power.

During his flight, an alien race of unknown appeared and began to stem the city 7. However, their attacks are not conventional-time to try to destroy them, they steal what is known as "Spiritia", making the victims that do not respond and like zombies. During these battles, Basara always goes out to the middle of the war zone, singing her songs and hoping that a friend and enemy listen and be moved by her music.

Summary and events
