Synopsis: In an Edo era Japan, with a variety of sword fighting styles, Shichika Yasuri practices the highest: Kyotouryuu, a technique in which the user's own body is exercised as a blade. Kyotouryuu school's seventh chief school, Shichika, lives in silence in exile with her sister Nanami until one day - the very ambitious strategist who makes her life in her lives.

Togame blatantly asks Shichika to help in his mission to collect twelve unique swords known as "deviant blades" for the shogunate. Shichika accepts, interested in the girl herself, instead of petty politics, and thus comes out on a journey. On their way are the fierce drawers of these legendary weapons, as well as other hungry power entities that seek to prevent the goal of togame. To prevail against their enemies, the pair must become an unbreakable team as they advance in a path of uncertainty and risk.

Shichika then fights Hitei and defeats her, but ends up losing her powers and becoming human again. He decides to live a normal life with his sister, Nanami, and the two move to an isolated island. In the end, Shichika reflects on his journey and the love he felt for Togame.
