Full Moon wo Sagashite
Synopsis: Two years ago, Mitsuki's friend Kouyama, Eichi Sakurai, moved to America before she could confess her feelings to him. Although she can't contact him, they promised to realize their dreams: Mitsuki wants to become a professional singer, and Eichi an astronomer. She expects her song to reach the world with a brightness like the full moon.
There is only one capture: Mitsuki suffers from throat cancer, which makes his voice quiet and singing strenuous. Her grandmother, who has a hatred for music, insists that Mitsuki undergoes surgery to remove cancer, but she refuses due to the risk of losing her voice. One day, two Shinigami - Meroko Yui and Takuto Kira - compare her to say she only has a year to live. This sudden revelation stimulates Mitsuki in action, and she decides that, with the help of Meroko and Takuto, she will become a professional singer at the time she left.
The full moon Wo Sagashite follows the emotional story of Mitsuki and his friends Shinigami as they find out what it means to sing - and finally what it means to live.
