Summertime Render

Synopsis: Since the death of his parents, Shinpei Ajiro has lived with the Kofune family and his two daughters - Mio and Ushio. Although he left his origin of origin to continue his education in Tokyo, Shinpei returns after Ushio drown tragically during a girl's rescue attempt. During the funeral, his best friend informs him about bruises found in the neck of Ushio, casting doubts about the cause of his death.

Suspecting that a murder occurred, Shinpei reassesses recent events, but strange incidents just continue to happen. People and other inexplicable occurrences disappear lead to remembering an old folk tale regarding entities called "shadows", which may not be totally fantasy. Supposedly, a meeting with the shadow predicts the imminent death of the person.

Facing the dark side of Hitogashima Island, Shinpei is against his dark destination to fulfill the final will of Ushio - to protect Mio.
