Zegapain

Synopsis: The average high school student Kyou Sogoru is an avid swimmer who lives in the beautiful city of Maihama. He spends his days leaving with friends, swimming and playing video games. However, his normal life turns upside down when a beautiful, mysterious girl named Shizuno Misaki approaches him with a strange request - jumps into the school pool.

This fateful jump transports Kyou to a world devastated by war, where humans ride impressive humanoid robots known as Zegas to fight malicious aliens known as Gards-Aorm. To lead this effort, humans formed cerebrum, a rebel organization that works to prevent Gards from eradicating humanity.

While Kyou participates in combat operations, he finds his fellow Zega pilots and witnesses numerous deaths, he begins to question the true nature of this world and his own life.
