Synopsis: In the year 2199, the earth is a mere shell of its ancient glory after a cruel bombing of the Gamila Empire. The inhabitants were forced underground to escape from the irradiated surface, but deadly radiation rises closer and closer to the withdrawal population. Only a year before the full and total extermination, time is ending rapidly and hope is scarce.

So far, any attempt to escape or retaliate has been instantly annihilated by the Alien Empire - even an emergency transmission of the islander planet in a neighboring galaxy offers a glimpse of hope to save the condemned planet. Coverlently, the self -defense force of the earth builds a mechanism faster than the light for a trip to Iscanda. Armed with new weapons and a determined team of fearless navy men, the War War ship of World War II Yamato reborn as Battleleship Yamato. She and her team departed on a dangerous journey through the stars to save her home and the whole human race.
