Sukitte Ii na yo.
Synopsis: Friends will only disappoint him, be the sad truth, Mei Tachibana, lives as long as she was unjustly guilty of the death of a class animal by her so-called friends at school. Since then, she has been away from people to prevent her from being hurt again. However, Mei's life begins to change dramatically when a bad -sided evil causes her to find the popular student Yamato Kurosawa.
Yamato finds her intriguing and insists on being her friend, even if Mei doesn't want anything to him. But when a dangerous situation ends with Yamato kissing Mei to save her from the unwanted attention of a persecutor, Mei begins to develop feelings for him. Shortly after her discovery that her feelings are mutual, they start dating and she earns not only a boyfriend but also friends. Mei, however, finds it very difficult to adapt to this new lifestyle, especially to express his true feelings about Yamato.
During the misunderstanding of their new relationship, each other, and the attention of other girls, MEI and Yamato approach slowly and learn the true meaning of these three little words: "I love you."
