Synopsis: Shamans are extraordinary individuals with the ability to communicate with ghosts, spirits and gods, who are invisible to ordinary people. The shaman fight - a prestigious tournament that put shamans from around the world against each other - is kept every five hundred years, where the winner is crowned shaman King. This title allows the current holder to demand the great spirit and shape the world as they find better.
He is late for class one night, Oyamada blanket, a common high school student, decides to take a shortcut through the local cemetery. Realizing -o, a lonely boy sitting on a tombstone invites blanket to Stargaze with "them". Realizing that "they" refers to the boy and his ghostly friends, blanket runs away from terror. Later, the boy presents himself as Asakura, a training shaman, and demonstrates his powers, joining the ghost of six-year-old samurai amidamaru to save blanket from a group of bandits. You make friends with blanket because of your ability to see spirits and, with the help of Amidamaru, they set out to achieve the goal of becoming the next Shaman King.
