Saint Seiya

Synopsis: In ancient times, a group of young people devoted their lives to the protection of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. These men were able to fight without weapons - a rocking of the fist alone was powerful enough to tear the sky and break the earth under them. These brave heroes became known as saints, as they could summon the power of the cosmos from within themselves.

Now, currently, a new generation of Santos is about to emerge. The young and witty Seiya is waging a hard battle for Pegasus's sacred armor, and he is not about to let anyone disturb him and his prize. Six years of hard work and training compensates for his victory and new title as one of Athena's saints.

But Seiya's venture doesn't end there. In fact, many dangerous dangers and enemies face him and the rest of the saints throughout the series. What new missions await the heroes of the epic saga Saint Seiya?

The manga also has a sequel, Saint Seiya Next Dimension, which takes place before the final events of the original and further explores the mythology and the history of the knights.
