Synopsis: Justice and application of this have changed. In the 22nd century, Japan applies the Sibil system, an objective means of determining the level of threat of each citizen, examining his mental state in search of signs of criminal intention, known as his psychopista. Inspectors defend the law subjugating, often with lethal force, anyone who housed the slightest will; Beside them are the agents, tired inspectors who became latent criminals, granted relative freedom in exchange for the work of the inspectors' dirty work.
In this world, Pisa Akane Tsunemori, a young woman with an honest desire to defend justice. However, as she works alongside veteran Hug Shinya Kougami, she soon discovers that the judgments of the Sibil system are not as perfect as her fellow inspectors assume. With everything she knows if she turned upside down, Akane fights with the question of what justice really is and can be maintained through the use of a system that can already be corrupted.
