Planetes

Synopsis: In 2075, space trips are no longer just a dream, but a daily reality for humanity. Advances in science and technology led to the colonization of the moon, the marketing of the outer space and the formation of large spatial companies. Ai Tanabe, an optimistic woman whose interests are in the cosmos, joins Technora Corporation as a member of her section of debris, a department dedicated to the removal of dangerous space waste between the orbits of the earth and the moon.

However, AI soon finds out how its work is not appreciated. Like Technora's laughter, the debris section is severely insufficient, little financed and is forced to use a ruined spacecraft dubbed "toy box" for debris recovery. Without letting it down, AI perseveres and gradually familiarizes itself with the strange personalities that make up the debris section team, such as the chief butch, Philippe Myers; the mysterious and closed mouth worker Edelgard Rivera; and Hachirouta Hoshino, who longs for a spaceship to call hers.

Planets is a series of unconventional science fiction that portrays the vastness of space as a background to the personal life of ordinary people who may have been born on Earth, but whose hopes and dreams are among the stars.
