Synopsis: Detective Layton agency, a company that helps its clients to solve unusual mysteries, is run by Katrielle Layton-The daughter of world-renowned archeology teacher Hershel Layton. Together with his assistant Noah Monntir and Sherl, Katrielle finds herself unraveling cases involving a newly cursed house, a dress imbued with a "devil's curse", and a client's late spouse zombie just to name a few.

In addition to his most peculiar cases, Katrielle has been working on another unresolved problem: her father's disappearance. Founding the agency was just the first step in his attempt to find out the truth behind his disappearance. While she continues to face the customer after a client, each with more crazy and weirdest problems to face, Katrielle is constantly closing in response to the greatest mystery of her life.
