Synopsis: Seiso Academy is a prestigious secondary school that classifies students in two courses: general studies, characterized by distinct gray uniforms and musical studies, characterized by primitive white uniforms. While running for class one morning, General Study student Kahoko Hino has a casual meeting with Lili, a small fairy in search of someone with the ability to see it. Lili flies away, and Kahoko, intrigued by their meeting, continues in her way.

Later, that day, the participants of a musical competition throughout the school are announced and everyone is, unsurprisingly, students of pelo music studies less until Kahoko's name is read. Immediately tracking Lili, little fairy gifts Kahoko a magical violin and convinces her to participate in the competition.

Kiniro on the rope: Cousin Passo follows Kahoko's efforts alongside Lili, as the young student must now face the challenges of the competition and face his competitors while sailing in a new world of classical music.
