Synopsis: In a remote Japanese village, Kohachi Inugami, a detective specializing in supernatural phenomena, is called in to investigate a series of disturbing incidents involving the appearance of mutilated cattle corpses. During his search, he comes across a peculiar young man, known as Dorotabou, who lives on the fringes of society and is the target of mockery. Intrigued by the boy's unique energy, Inugami invites him to join him in the investigation, without imagining that this partnership will reveal to Dorotabou a hidden world, populated by supernatural entities called Kemono, bringing him not only new challenges, but also a new perspective on his own solitary existence.
