Synopsis: The year is 1991, and Arcade video games are the latest craze. Becoming a professional player is an absurd dream in an industry that has not yet disclosed its influence. However, this is the way Haruo Yaguchi wants to follow. His aptitude for video games earned him respect for local arches and granted him confidence and pride, both broken when colleague Akira Oono easily defeats him in Street Fighter 2.

Akira is rich, beautiful and intelligent - as close as it can be for a perfect girl. But Haruo never cared about these things like, despite his multiple deficiencies as a person, his supremacy in video games was, in his mind, unquestionable. So now that someone has appeared that can rival him, part of Haruo cannot stop hating it. Another part, however, itching for someone who can compete with him in equal terms, and Akira is more than capable.
