Heike Monogatari

Synopsis: The Taira clan, also known as The Heike, has a huge authority over Japan. When a young woman, presented with a strange eye that allows him to see the future, disrespects the clan, his father pays the price of his crime with his life. Soon after, as fate would have, Taira at Shigemori - the eldest son of the clan leader - full of the same unfortunate girl, who is now called "Biwa". Biwa informs that the fall of Heike is imminent. After learning of the great injustice, Biwa suffered in the hands of Heike, Shigemori promises that he took her and take care of her instead of leaving him dead.

In an era of increasing military tension, Heike is in the middle of a cunning struggle for power, and the blood stained war is on the horizon. Shigemori, whose eyes allow him to see spirits from the dead, is anxious and hopeful to prevent the death of his clan. Biwa, however, is reluctant to reveal the future and should adapt to his new life full of happiness and sadness in this crucial chapter in Japanese history.
