Harukana Receive

Synopsis: In Beach Volleyball, there is no room for ASES. To reach the victory, each player must find their irreplaceable partner in which he can trust the sand court. At least, this is what Haruka Oozora learns on his first day in Okinawa after moving with his grandmother and his cousin Kanata Higa. While visiting a nearby beach, Haruka stumbles on some girls practicing beach volleyball and is quickly invited to participate. This friendly training game suddenly turns into a match when one of the girls, Narumi Tooi, realizes Kanata approaching the court.

Although the two suffer a devastating defeat, Haruka finally realizes the reason for the quiet and distant behavior of his cousin. Kanata and Narumi used to be an exceptionally talented beach volleyball duo, until Kanata came out of her short height, causing problems for Narumi. Now, with the junior tournament just a few weeks, Haruka must learn the intricacies of competitive beach volleyball and help Kanata overcome her disabling anxiety about the sport she used to love.
