Gankutsuou
Synopsis: In the year 5053, the French aristocrats Visconde Albert de Morcerf and Baron Franz d'Epinay participate in the Carnival Festival in the city of Luna. While Franz is just trying to have fun, Albert is looking for something more to fill his life-but he finds more than he expected in the Count of Monte Cristo, a mysterious and charming nobleman who finds his gaze during an opera performance.
Through some twists, Albert makes friends with Contagem and introduces him to French society. The Count, however, has more in his mind than just friendship; He finally plans to trigger his revenge on those who hurt him years earlier. Gankutsuou follows Albert and the Count's intertwined destinations and the final price paid for promulgating revenge.
