Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Synopsis: After a horrible experiment of alchemy goes wrong at Elric's house, brothers Edward and Alphonse are left in a new catastrophic reality. Ignoring the alchemical principle that prohibits human transmutation, the boys tried to bring their recently deceased mother back to life. Instead, they suffered a brutal personal loss: Alphonse's body disintegrated as Edward lost a leg and then sacrificed an arm to keep Alphonse's soul in the physical kingdom, linking a armor costume.

The brothers are rescued by their neighbor Pinako Rockbell and his granddaughter Winry. Known as a biomechanical engineering prodigy, Winry creates prosthetic members for Edward, using "Automail", a sturdy and versatile metal used in robots and combat armor. After years of training, the Elric brothers set out in a search to restore their bodies, locating the philosopher's stone - a powerful jewel that allows an alchemist to challenge the traditional laws of equivalent exchange.

As Edward becomes an infamous alchemist and earns the nickname "Fullmetal," the boys' journey involves them in a growing conspiracy that threatens the fate of the world.
