ef: A Tale of Memories.

Synopsis: On Christmas Eve, Hiro Hirono finds Miyako Miyamura, a frivolous girl who "lends" her bike to chase a bag of bag. After Hiro finds his destroyed bike and unconscious Miyako, the two unexpectedly pass Christmas Eve together, and when they find out that they go to the same school, their accidental relationship develops even more. This arouses the jealousy of Hiro's childhood friend Kei Shindou, whose pure approach to life catches the attention of Kyosuke Tsutsumi, a female photographer looking for the perfect shot.

Elsewhere, Renji Asou, a boy who dreams of being the knight of a girl in a bright armor, has a casual encounter with Kei's twin sister - the very shy Chihiro Shindou, who spends her time reading alone - in a station by abandoned train. The two quickly become friends and eventually decide to write a romance together. However, when Renji discovers the secret of Chihiro, a disability that makes her an ephemeral memory, her childish ideals will be put to the test.

Guided by two mysterious adults, the relationships of these young people intertwine in a tale of love, rejection, acceptance and memories.
