Donten ni Warau

Synopsis: In the 11th year of the Meiji era, the end of Samurai Shogunate and the ban on swords left Japan with lasting scars. Depported by these recent changes, many ex -samurais consult the new government, inciting a wave of bloodshed. To combat this movement, the government builds a colossal prison in the middle of Lake Biwa.

Not officially designated to help police criminals, Tenka Kumou also serves as a ferry in the arrest of Lake Biwa with the help of his two younger brothers: the ambitious Soramaru and the enthusiast kicked. Along with the old smoke Ninja Shirasu Kinjou, the brothers kumou live a frugal and cheerful life, mainly dedicated to studying and training.

However, behind this relatively uncompromising daily routine, the "Orochi" curse spectrum is beginning to spread its shadow over the city of Oumi. According to legend, every three hundred years, Orochi reincarnates in a human vase - and it is believed that this is the foreshadowing of an imminent catastrophe. As several groups collide in search of Orochi's ship, some intend to seal the curse, while others have darker plans in motion.
