Bakumatsu

Synopsis: Bakumatsu was a time when young souls burned with anxiety for the future of their country. Takasugi Shinsaku, an Choshu fortune soldier, enters a government ship with his comrade Katsura Kogorou in search of a mysterious "clock" with the power to manipulate the time he fears that the government wants to keep for itself. Instead of allowing this power to fall into the wrong hands, Takasugi plans to destroy the artifact, but, having obtained, the artifact is quickly stolen, forcing the pair to follow the mysterious thief to the government's headquarters in Kyoto. However, when they reach the capital, they discover that the government has been overthrown and the Susanoo deity now reigns in its place. The city streets and people are very different from Takasugi and Katsura remembered. Times may have changed, but their mission not - Takasugi and Katsura decide to redefine time and save their nation from the harmful forces that try to sequest it.

    9. The battle ends with the victory of the rebels, but Ryunosuke is mortally injured.
    10. Ryunosuke dies in Oryo's arms, while Japan continues its transition to a centralized government.
