Trinity Blood
Synopsis: Following Armageddon, an apocalyptic war, humanity faces another threat: vampires. Continuous confrontations between races divided the world into separate factions. The vampire breed, Methuselah, is affiliated with the new human empire; While humans, considered land by vampires, make up the papal state of the Vatican. In addition, extremist groups such as Rosenkreuz Order strive to rekindle a war despite attempts at factions to avoid direct conflicts.
To combat terrorist organizations, the Vatican implemented the AX unit. Led by Cardinal Caterina Sforza, Ax agents investigate vampire disorders hoping that the Terrans and Methuselah will one day reach a peaceful coexistence. Among the Ax unit is Father Abel Nightroad-A seemingly disoriented subject, but with a kind heart, who is a fierce vampire killer on the battlefield. Joining the unit as his partner is Sister Esther Blanchett, a brave and kind young man, disturbed by a tragic past.
As the two approach, they begin to discover signs of malicious schemes and dark forces that work in the shadows. But the way they walk is full of misfortunes that can only force them to confront the memories that torment their hearts.
