Synopsis: "Planzet" is a science fiction anime set in a post-apocalyptic future in which Earth has been invaded by aliens. The story follows a young robot pilot named Hiroshi Akishima, who lost his family during the alien invasion. Em "Planzet", o filme de ficção científica japonês dirigido por Jun Awazu, a história se passa no ano de 2047, depois que a Terra é invadida por alienígenas conhecidos como "Splinter". Os humanos desenvolvem uma nave espacial avançada chamada "PlanZET" para combater os invasores. No final do filme, a tripulação da nave PlanZET descobre que os alienígenas Splinter estão usando a Terra como uma espécie de incubadora para sua raça. Os humanos lutam ferozmente contra os invasores, mas acabam percebendo que a única maneira de derrotar os Splinter é destruindo a própria Terra.
