Synopsis: In the world of without love, each person is born with ears of cats and a tail, which disappear only if that person gets involved in sexual intercourse. Because of this, they began to symbolize virginity and innocence. In addition, the fight is made only by "pairs of combat" or couples, where one is known as sacrifice and the other as the fighter. The first receives the damage while the last one attacks.
Ritsuka Aoyagi is a 12 -year -old boy who, for some reason, the unknown reason suffers from amnesia. His brother was recently killed and, as if his life had not been difficult enough lately, on his first day in the new school, he is approached by a strange called Agatsuma Soubi, who claims to have met his late brother. Ritsuka discovers that Agatsuma and his brother used to be a pair of struggle, and that Agatsuma has inherited Ritsuga now that his brother is gone.
