Synopsis: "Kings" are individuals who were granted to incredible supernatural powers and granted the ability to recruit others in their clans. Protecting the life and honor of their clans is an integral part of the duties of kings. After a video that describes the heinous murder of a red clan spreads virally, the unpretentious student Yashiro Isana is accused of murder. Now a human hunt is in progress to his head, putting it in contact with the infamous "Black Dog" Kurou Yatogami - a skilled swords and martial artist determined to follow the wishes of his late master, the seventh king.

Meanwhile, the current red king Mikoto suu, faces his own imminent death as the search for Yashiro narrows. But during Yashiro's struggle to prove his innocence, a greater conspiracy is unfolding behind the scenes; The clouds begin to appear in their memory, and close friends begin to question their own existence.
