Synopsis: In the Ikebukuro district, in the center of Tokyo, amid many rumors and strange warnings of anonymous gangs and dangerous occupants, an urban legend stands out above the rest of the existence of an "black pilot" without a head that is said to be seen driving A black jet motorcycle through the city streets.
Mikado Ryuugamine always longed for the emotion of the city's life, and an invitation from a childhood friend convinces him to move to Tokyo. Witnessing the black pilot on his first day in the city, his wishes seem to have been granted. But when supernatural events begin to occur, ordinary citizens like him, along with the most colorful inhabitants of Ikebukuro, are mixed in the commotion that has broken in his city.
