Dagashi Kashi
Synopsis: In the field is a candy store managed by the Shikada family for nine generations: Shikada Dagashi, a small company that sells traditional Japanese sweets. However, despite requests from his father, Kokonotsu Shikada, an aspiring manga artist, refuses to inherit family business.
However, this may start to change with the arrival of the eccentric Hotaru Shidare. Hotaru is looking for Kokonotsu's father, with the goal of bringing him back to work to his family company, Shidare Corporation, a worldwide candy maker. Although senior Shikada refuses initially, he says he will change his mind in one condition: if Hotaru can convince Kokonotsu to take over the family store. And so begins the mission of Hotaru of clarifying the boy about the true joy of Dogashi delicious and nostalgic!

Summary and events
