Synopsis: On the first day of high school, Mato Kuroi finds Yomi Takanashi, a shy and withdrawal girl to whom she immediately interested. Mato tries your best to talk to Yomi, wanting to make friends with her. At first it is avoided, but the ice breaks when Yomi notices a decorative blue bird attached to the phone of Mato, which is from the book "Li'l Birds in Play". Finding out that they have a common interest, the two form a strong friendship.

In an alternative universe, girls exist as parallel beings, I kill as Black ★ Rock Shooter and Yomi as Master Dead. Somehow what happens in one world seems to have an effect on another, and unknowingly, the girls, unknowingly, are entangled by the wires of fate.
