3-gatsu no Lion

Synopsis: Having reached professional status in high school, King Kiriyama is one of the few elite in the world of Shogi. Because of this, he faces a huge amount of pressure from both the Shogi community and his adopted family. Seeking the independence of his life at home tense, he moves to an apartment in Tokyo. At the age of 17 who lives on his own, King tends to take care of himself, and his personality reclined the Ostraciza of his colleagues at school and Shogi Hall.

However, shortly after his arrival at Tokyo, King meets Akari, Hinata and Momo Kawamoto, a trio of sisters living with his grandfather who has a traditional Wagashi store. Akari, the oldest of the three girls, is determined to combat king's loneliness and poorly sustained lifestyle with maternal hospitality. The Kawamoto sisters, dealing with past tragedies, also share with king a unique family bond that he was missing for most of his life. While he struggles to stay physically and mentally through his career in Shogi, King must learn to interact with others and understand his own complex emotions.
