Synopsis: In the 1960s, a young talented medical student tries to make his name. Kuroo Hazama is a young man reserved for unusual black and white hair, a scar -covered body and a dark past. Although only a medical student, its surgical brightness begins to attract attention after it completes a seemingly impossible operation. Together with the animated intern and honest Maiko Okamoto and Yabu, a close friend of a troubled life, Hazama is dedicated to the world of medicine.

However, your way to become a respectable surgeon is difficult, as student riots, war and corruption are consuming Japan. Hazama quickly involved herself in a series of harmful circumstances that challenge her integrity as a person and her way to become a surgeon. Young Black Jack chronicles the story of a man who can perform unthinkable medical deeds, and the journey that leads him to become the legend known as Black Jack.
