Sidonia no Kishi
Synopsis: After destroying the earth for many years, the alien race Gauna has pursued the remnants of humanity - which, narrowly escaped, fled through the galaxy in several giant seed ships. In the year 3394, Nagate Tanikaze arises from her lifelong seclusion, deeply under the seed ship Sidonia in search of food at the higher levels, just to be dragged to events that unfold without her knowledge.
When the Gauna begin his attack on Sidonia, it is up to Tanikaze - with the help of his fellow soldiers and friends Shizuka Hoshijiro, Izana Shinatose and Yuhata Midorikawa - to defend the last hope of humanity and defeat their aliens. At the end of Sidonia's manga in Kishi, the Sidenia ship finally arrives on the planet Lem IX, where the crew hopes to find a new home to humanity. There they discover that the alien ship Gauna is still active and planning a final attack on humanity. Nagate Tanikaze, the protagonist, leads a team to face Gauna and, with the help of Tsumugi, a Hybrid of Gauna and Human, they can destroy the alien ship and save humanity. In the end, Nagate and Tsumugi become the guardians of the new planet and humanity begins to settle in their new home.
