Coming from a distinct family, he is an infamous perfectionist - he is not very critical to himself, but also from others. The only thing that prevents Shinichi from leaving for Europe is the fear of flying. As a result, it is based on Japan.
During her fourth year at the top music University of Japan, Shinichi meets Megumi Noda or, as she refers to herself, nodame. On the surface, she seems to be a sloppy girl, without direction in life. However, when Shinichi hears Nodame playing the piano for the first time, he is admired with the kind of music she creates. However, Shinichi is dismayed to find that Nodame is her neighbor and, worse, she falls in love with him.
