Neon Genesis Evangelion

Synopsis: Fifteen years after a cataclysmic event known as the second impact, the world faces a new threat: the monstrous celestial beings called "angels" invade Tokyo-3 one by one. Humanity is unable to defend itself from angels, despite using its most advanced ammunition and military tactics. The only hope for human salvation rests in the hands of Nerv, a mysterious organization led by the cold Gondou Ikari. The Nerv Opera Giants Humanoid Robots dubbed "Evangelions" to combat advanced angels and cutting -edge protection barriers known as absolute terrorist fields.

Years after being abandoned by his father, Shinji Ikari, a 14-year-old son of Gendou, returns to Tokyo-3. Shinji suffers a perpetual internal battle against the deeply buried trauma caused by the loss of his mother and the emotional neglect he suffered in the hands of his father. Terrified to open to another, Shinji's life changed forever by meeting Misato Katsuragi, 29, a nervous officer who shows him a free -moving motherhood he never experienced.

A devastating angel attack forces Shinji to act while Geneou reveals his true reason to invite his son back to Tokyo-3: Shinji is the only son capable of efficiently piloting Evangeli-01, a new robot that synchronizes with his biometrics . Despite the brutal psychological trauma brought by piloting an Evangelion, Shinji defends Tokyo-3 against the angelic threat, oblivious to his father's shadowy machines.
