Synopsis: Sakura Kinomoto, ten, is a common student of the fourth grade who lives in Tomeda until one day she stumbles into a mysterious card book entitled "The Clow." Thinking of her discovery, she involuntarily causes a gust of wind to spread the cards all over the city.

The accident awakens the seal beast - Akeoberos, nicknamed "Kero" - who tells Sakura that she launched the mystical "clow cards" created by wizard Clow Reed. Due to the capacity of each letter of acting independently and their incredible power, Clow sealed them. Now that they have been released, the cards represent great danger to the world, and it is up to Sakura to end them.
