Campione!: Matsurowanu Kamigami to Kamigoroshi no Maou

Synopsis: The gods of the world are not myths or legends. They exist, without the knowledge of human beings, fighting their battles and throwing waste on the earth and in life. People perceive the fights of "heretic gods" as unexplained natural disasters that cannot escape.

The sixteen-year-old high school student, Godou Kusanagi, travels to Italy, at the request of his grandfather, to return a specific tablet to an acquaintance to save himself. Godou does not expect to be drawn into a battle between two heretical gods alongside Erica Blandelli, a self-proclaimed witch fight to protect people. Fortunately, he manages to defeat the god of war in deadly combat and becomes a "Champion" - or "Slayer of God" - whose duty is to fight the heretical gods to save humanity.

Godou's new status as Campione attracts a band of gods who wish to challenge him and a band of devoted followers - mostly women - who are willing to aid him in his battles. Campione!: Matsurowanu Kamigami for Kamigoroshi no Maou follows Godou as he tackles the dueling deities in a conflict between heaven and earth.
